🎶 Meet our Musicfest Adjudicator: Allison Arends

An accomplished soprano, Allison has performed across Canada, the U.S., and internationally, and is a graduate of the University of Toronto Opera School (MMus) and the University of Victoria (BMUS), as well as Calgary Opera’s Emerging Artist Program.

She is an active educator, Royal Conservatory examiner, and adjudicator across Canada, with extensive experience leading vocal, choral, and educational workshops and masterclasses in classical, musical theatre, and contemporary styles.

🎶 Meet our Musicfest Adjudicator: Christopher Siu

Christopher is an accomplished pianist and educator, holding a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Toronto. A prize-winning performer from a young age, he has appeared at renowned venues including Roy Thomson Hall, the Four Seasons Centre, and CBC’s Glenn Gould Studio.
An active collaborative pianist and experienced adjudicator, Christopher regularly works with musicians across festivals and recitals, bringing a thoughtful, encouraging approach that helps students refine their technique and artistry.
We’re excited for our pianists to learn and grow from his insight this Musicfest. 🎹✨

Eric is an accomplished conductor and double bassist with a long-standing career in both performance and education. As former Head of Music at Alexander Mackenzie High School’s regional arts program, he has led ensembles of all levels, from youth orchestras to symphonies with groups consistently recognized at major festivals, including MusicFest Nationals.

With experience spanning orchestras, jazz bands, and over 25 musical theatre productions, Eric brings a well-rounded and deeply experienced perspective to every performance he evaluates.

We’re looking forward to having our instrumentalists learn and grow from his expertise this Musicfest. 🎻✨

🎹 Meet our Musicfest Adjudicator: Dr. Tatiana Voitovitch-Camilleri!

An internationally accomplished pianist, Tatiana holds a Ph.D. from York University and is an alumna of The Glenn Gould School. Her performance career spans across Europe and Canada, with appearances in major venues and recognition in international piano competitions.

Alongside her performing career, Tatiana has taught at universities across two continents and continues to mentor young musicians, many of whom go on to study at top institutions. As an active RCM Senior Examiner and adjudicator of over two decades, she brings a thoughtful and experienced perspective to every performance.

We’re excited for our pianists to learn from her expertise this Musicfest. 🎶✨

Robert brings a dynamic career as a singer, actor, and educator, with performances across North America including roles in Les Misérables, Beauty and the Beast, and Chess in Concert. His work spans stage, film, and television, with appearances on Murdoch Mysteries and Saving Hope.

Alongside his performance career, Robert has taught vocal music in both Canada and New York at institutions including NYU and CAP21, bringing a depth of knowledge and experience to every student he works with.

We’re looking forward to having our vocalists perform and learn from his expertise this Musicfest. 🎤✨

We’re excited to welcome @brianmelomusic and @mikerobins to this year’s Voice of Arcadia stage.

Brian Melo, winner of Canadian Idol, has shared the stage with artists like Queen, Maroon 5, Rihanna, Bon Jovi, and Kelly Clarkson, and continues to inspire through his songwriting, performances, and music mentorship programs.

Joining him is Mike Robins, known for his success with chart-topping country duo Autumn Hill, whose music has earned multiple Top 10 hits, award nominations, and performances alongside artists like Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, and Florida Georgia Line.

Two incredible artists. Two unique perspectives from the music industry.

We’re excited to welcome Mike Sleath to Arcadia Rocks this year. Mike is a world-class drummer and percussionist who has spent the last decade performing on some of the biggest stages in the world. For the past five years, he has been the full-time touring drummer for Grammy-nominated artist Shawn Mendes.

Throughout his career, Mike has shared the stage with artists like John Mayer, Miley Cyrus, Camila Cabello, Khalid, and Zedd, and has performed at iconic venues including Madison Square Garden, Wembley Stadium, and The Royal Albert Hall.

From global tours to major TV performances like The Grammys, SNL, and The Tonight Show, Mike brings an incredible level of experience and insight to the stage.

Now he’s bringing that experience to Arcadia’s Battle Of The Bands, and we can’t wait to see our bands take the stage. 🎸
