RCM, Berklee, Contemporary Developed on the principle of “the existence of a World outside of classical music and its traditions”; this is what Arcadia’s contemporary program strives on. This student-driven program provides a pathway to a musical life outside of the classical music realm, feeding their hunger to learn music that appeals to them on their desired instrument. The classroom will foster a personalized lesson approach to aid in achieving the student’s musical goals with guidance from one of Arcadia’s many qualified instructors.
Saxophone, Clarinet, Trumpet, Horn, Flute, Oboe, Trombone… everyone had to play these instruments in school at one point or another, or the very least, you passed by the Music Room while walking in the school hallways. Whether it’s music from the 1500s or the 1950s, wind instruments have always played a crucial role in our big bands and orchestras! Listen to Louis Armstrong or Charlie Parker and in their “sound” you will also hear the evolution of these instruments. Our exceptional instructors at Arcadia Academy of Music can help you find your voice, from the largest Tuba to the tiniest piccolo!
Go outside the box and join our Band Program integrating yourself into a more contemporary arrangement of instruments. By the end of journey, learn how to teach and share the same passion with other students through our elite teaching program.
